Child Restraints Non Standard Inspection
Anchorage installation inspection and certification by an Approved Person — peace of mind for every trip.
When travelling with children up to 7 years of age you must ensure they are restrained in a properly fastened and adjusted Australian Standards approved child restraint.
In addition to the safety risks, heavy fines apply for each child not properly secured — up to $1,078.00 and 4 demerit points.
Check your vehicle for factory anchor points. If they're not factory fitted to suit your needs, you may purchase a kit and install it as per the manufacturer's instructions, then have it inspected and certified by us (or any Approved Person). A modification plate will be installed on the car to show it has been installed correctly, ensuring it complies with Australian Design Rule 34 (ADR 34).
ADR 34 Certified
Installations checked against the national design rule.
Mod Plate Fitted
A modification plate is fitted on the vehicle on completion.
